Yesterday while playing around in my craft room I stumbled upon a great craft tip. I had used most of my sticky foam dimensional tape and thought I need go to the craft store to stock up for my future projects. Suddenly a thought came to me to try something else…but I didn’t have any to try. So, today on my way home I stopped by the craft store and instead of purchasing the roll of sticky foam tape, I decide to purchase some of the craft foam sheets and try using those instead of the foam on the roll. SO, here is my video on YouTube sharing what I came up with. ENJOY!!
Yes, I’ve been missing in action the past few months. Sorry I’ve been away for so long. Where do I start, life throws so many turns and curves. I can’t even tell you all the changes that have occurred, but primarily my work have been the biggest distraction of my blogging life. My company was acquired by a new bigger company. So much has changed, lots for the better but it’s really a lot to get used to also. Plus I’ve had some work related travel recently in the mix as well. I have been doing a few YouTube videos but those have been a bit hit & miss also. But, here’s for trying to get it all back in gear. So here are a few things I’ve been able to fit in over the past few months. I did a few birthday cards For Christmas I didn’t get to make as many as I wanted to but I did manage to make cards for those I gave gifts to, . Also, I made a few purchases of craft goodies and did a few YouTube videos sharing my hauls. Check out my YouTube Channel to see all the missing gaps. I’ll be back to post more and try to keep up better going forward.
Thanks for everyone that have been faithfully checking my blog, I’ll be back with more soon!
Hi all, I hope your summer is going well. We have had gorgeous weather in these parts lately except for a couple days of near 100 degree weather. Well today I got some time in my craft room, so it was a good day. Here are the cards I made today, I’ll share those first, then I ‘ll share a few I made in the recent past. Also, if you want you can check out my YouTube video for more details.
These are the ones I made today.
These are the one I’ve made in the recent past. The video has some others so feel free to check it out.
I’ll be back with more soon.
It has been so far and few between with my blogging here lately. Sorry for the absence. However I have been crafting and sewing lately but not as much as I’d like. Some of my latest paper-crafting projects have been for family & close friends. So, here are a few photos of my most recent projects. This card was commissioned by a husband for he & his wife’s 25th wedding anniversary,
Aside from these I’ve been sewing a bit more, I completed one pair of cropped pants and working on a couple others. I haven’t finished posting the pics of those yet but if you want to check out my sewing projects click here: www.sewhooked-blogspot.com
That’s it for now, hope to be back more regular.
This is my first actual scrapbook page layout. I was rummaging through some really old pictures and found these of my son’s first day of school for the 1st grade. He is now 33 so this was really a long time ago. I’m going to find all his school pictures up through college and scrap a few of them in chronological order. This was fun to do so I’m looking forward to doing this series and much more. If yo. want more detail on the paper and letter and everything I used to do this page…here’s my video sharing my scrapbook page:
It certainly has been awhile. So, 2014 is well underway and I hope you all are doing well as the year is progressing. I have been quite busy with a little crafting on the side. So, I thought I’d pop in to post and just catch up with you all. I have a niece who just had a baby boy and I did a really cute Baby Boy Mini album. It was so much fun to make and I thought I’d show the video here so I hope you enjoy it. Here are some pictures and the video is below. I’ll be back with more later.
Baby Album Video
Happy New Year Everyone! Hope you achieve everything you desire and deserve. Wishing you good Health & Happiness throughout this new year. Last but not least…wishing you a year full of creative fun!
I’ll be back with more later.
Before I get started I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed, Healthy & Happy New Year! I haven’t posted nearly as much as I’d like to this year but I hope to do much better next year with a variety of craft projects. So, I’ll end this year sharing the Christmas Cards I made, I wanted a variety of cards so these are what I made this year.
Also, here’s the YouTube video I did if you want to hear about more detail.
Yes, it’s true I’ve been missing in action but I’ve got something good to share with you guys. I just recently had surgery on my foot so I’m in recuperation mode and I can’t wait to literally be back on my feet. So, recently I’ve been on a quest to get my home, mind and craft life all organized. Sometimes it hard to do with so much on your mind, something will inevitability fall through the cracks. While in my closet the other day I came across a planner binder I used years ago back in the 90’s. I used to keep a “Franklin Quest” (it was called back then) now call “Franklin Covey” planner. It was a timely re-discovery so I pulled it out and it still had the old fillers that I used back in 1998. It was a walk down memory lane to say the least. So, I thought let me check on YouTube (YT gets me in so much trouble..LOL) to see if people are using them now & what I found was inspiring and motivating. First I found out about a system called “Erin Condren” planner system. So I was first convinced that the “Erin Condren” planner system would work for me and I bought that planner. It’s very cute but ended up not being what I really wanted for my particular need. So, I thought about the “Franklin Covey” planner again but the binder I used then was a small personal size and I decided that now I needed one a little larger, my eyesight and handwriting isn’t what it used to be…if you know what I mean…LOL! So, I went on Ebay and found a nice pretty pink leather binder and got the Franklin Covey fillers and this is what I put together:
The month on two pages is just enough room to jot reminders to carry over to the weekly view.
I opted for the weekly view for my appointments and reminders since it takes less pages than a day on one page or day on two pages.
This is my favorite section of my of my planner, this is where I felt limited in the Erin Condren Planner System. I can insert whatever I want with as many pages as I’d like and if I want to carry over some of this information to the next year I can leave what I want and take out what I don’t. It give me plenty room to journal and add my own inspiration and motivation. These are by far my favorite planner companions. I can choose to color code my appointments /reminders on my calendar views but most of all these are erasable. Now there aren’t like the old school erasable pens, if you remember those from back in the day. These work quite well and I’m so glad to have discovered them.
If you’d like to see more information I did videos about my reason for choosing the Franklin vs. the Erin Condren then I did a tour of my Franklin planner.
I’ll be back soon with more craft goodies!!
This post will be very picture heavy. I know it’s been awhile since I last posted. It’s been a pretty busy summer. Spending time with family is one of the biggest joys of my life, so it’s been lots of family time just enjoying the summer. However I have gotten a little crafting done and I wanted to share my latest project that I made for my son’s birthday. He turned 33 and he is the greatest joy of my life. My son is an artist so I hardly feel competent to make something for him but I couldn’t resist and I hope he will enjoy using this. I made this album to be either a photo album or art journal and I used the tutorial by “Kathy Orta of “Paper Phenomenon”.…so here are pictures.ETA: My son got the mini album yesterday Thus. Sept. 4th and HE LOVE IT!! I was over joyed that he really loved it. It was so much fun to make especially for him, so it was all worth it.
Happy 4th of July everyone. I decided today was a great day to play in my craft room and I’ve been meaning to share this haul or a while. These are paper flower making kits, “Susan’s Garden” by Sizzix and they make really beautiful paper flowers. So, today I had a little time finally to play with this set so I made a rose from one of the kits.
Here are some of the other sets and they were a great deal through Blitsy so maybe you can keep your eyes open for a good deal on there somewhere. If you like making paper flower they are worth it.
Also here’s my YouTube video of the haul.
Happy Crafting & hope you had a great holiday!
Over the last few weeks there has been lots of male birthdays celebrated among friends and family. Making masculine cards are always a bit of a challenge for me. I guess I just have more fun with flowers and frills and cute things and most men don’t really get into that. So here are a few pics of the latest birthday cards I did of the masculine type… On this first one I wanted a more elegant touch. These papers were from the “Black Currant” paper stack by DCWV, This cute bow tie stamped card is from Stampin’ Up! stamp set “Dapper Dad”This old fashion car with the plaid background, the papers are from “The Natural” paper stack from DCWV and the stamp is from GinaK of Stamp TV.This basket ball & hoop is a die cut image from the Silhouette online store, I cute this one on my Silhouette Cameo.Last but not least this stamp is from GinaK of StampTV again and the background is done with an embossing folder when I went over it with my brayer after embossing. Then I used a little “Stickles” glitter on “You Rock” and the yellow rays around the star.As you can probably tell the age range and type of man/young man varied a bit and it was great practice. I think I’m going to make up some more masculine cards just to have on hand and again the practice will do me some good. We can never get enough practice right? Stay tuned more later….

I love this stamp set, Stippled Blossoms item # 126747 by Stampin’ Up! There’s really a lot you can do with this set and I’ll come back with more ideas later. Here’s a picture of a birthday card I made using this stamp set.
I also wanted to share this demo video of how I made a beautiful birthday card using this stamp set. (Click on post title to view video). Enjoy!
OK, this is just a funny video I saw and just couldn’t resist sharing it with you. You might want to share it with your husbands & children etc. These two dads felt like women exaggerate the pain of childbirth experience. So they went to the doctor to have a (simulation) of the experience by getting hooked up to electrodes. They found out that it is indeed not a pleasant experience but as us mothers know this is not even half the story. Enjoy!
As you all may have realized I have joined Stampin’ Up! as an Independent Demonstrator. This is my first YouTube video showing the beautiful Swallowtail Butterfly stamp. This stamp was one of the first stamps I wanted from Stampin’ Up! because I love butterflies. I’m still a little rough around the edges doing videos but I just had to give this one a try and share it with you all. (Click on this post title to view) Enjoy! :
This time of year among my family and friends are tons of birthdays. I’m really happy that I can make cards myself. It’s great to give handmade cards for birthdays and special occasions. So, here’s one I made recently.
I colored the flowers with my Copics and the green matting on the card is from Spellbinder’s dies set Marvelous Squares.
The flower on this card is from the Spellbinder’s die set Carnation Creations by Donna Salazar. I have lots more birthday cards to make and with Spring finally here, there’s lots of happy occasions to celebrate, so I’ll be posting more soon.
Have a happy spring day!
Well at least that’s what the calendar says. The weather is still just a little chilly in my area but Spring is really just around the corner. Since Spring is coming that means Mother’s Day is on the way too. I’m a mom and I think all moms get a little tug on their heart as Mother’s day approaches and we look forward to it with that maternal anticipation. So, I have a couple Mother’s Day cards to share.
Wishing everyone a Happy Easter & Resurrection Sunday! What a glorious day!
Blessing to you all!
This also made me think about how close Spring is and all the happy and joyous occasions ahead. Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations and of course weddings & new babies. Whew, I need to get busy. Don’t you just love sharing these special occasions in such a special way. Most people treasure something that was made just for them especially on occasions as special as these. Thinking of these special timse help me look past the cold chill of winter and realize Spring is just around the corner…Yay! More later…
A while back I did some practice coloring with my Copic markers and really enjoyed it but I never featured any of my coloring on a card. So, finally here are a few images I colored and made up cards to showcase them.
This one was another one from my “one sheet wonder” set.
And, this one was in my last post as part of my “one sheet wonder” set so I accomplished two techniques on these two cards. This one however is my favorite of the set mainly because I love the combo colors of black, white & red.
I actually have both Copic and a few Spectrum Noir markers. Sometimes I use them together because of my limited colors in my Copic collection. The Spectrum Noir markers do fill the gap somewhat but I have to say I enjoy using my Copic markers the best, I like the intensity and true-ness (is that a word?) of the color and I think they blend really well. In the Copics I plan on getting the missing colors in the family groups that I use the most. Well that’s all for now, more soon.
I finally had some time to play in my craft room this weekend. I wanted to try my hand at creating some cards from the “one sheet wonder” ideas that I’ve seen a lot online lately. I am addicted to Pinterest by the way and I’ve seen several pins showing this concept, here are some examples click here. I usually like to add a little something extra to my cards so this was a little bit of a challenge. Here are a few of what I came up with trying the one sheet wonder technique, the black & white polka dots are from the sheet that I used as my base.
I hand colored this rose card with my copics markers and this is my first time featuring my copic coloring on a card.
The simpler versions seem to have a little something missing, but I do really like clean and simple sometimes. I think I can squeeze out two more with the remaining cuts I have left. This was a fun attempt and I plan on working on this concept more soon. I think it’s a great way to do card sets and quickie cards in a pinch.
I have more to show later this week and I’ll soon have another great announcement!!
So stay tuned…LOL!
Over the weekend I made a couple cards for a unique challenge. I came across a “newbie” challenge on YouTube and jumped at the chance to participate. A veteran YouTuber “Ashia O” offered a challenge to newbie YouTubers as a way to promote their channel. I thought that was a great challenge to jump into. So, I quickly busied myself making a couple cards for the challenge. She is taking challengers up until 2/14/13 in case you are new to YouTube so check out her link and give it a shot. Here are the cards I entered…
Here’s a link to my video in response to the “Newbie Challenge” boy can you ever tell I’m new at this. But, I’m getting there and it’s fun doing something new and doing what I love (card making). So, more to come, more projects, cards and a bit of everything else. Oh, BTW I’ll be working on posting a short video tour of my sewing room and at some point I’ll post a video of my craft room. I have some lighting issues that make that kind of video quite a challenge so I’ll have to do that when I have some good day light.
I just put up my second YouTube video sharing some of my craft supplies purchases over the past week or so.
Check it out! (Click on post title to view)

It’s such a busy time of year but I was determined to send out and give out my own handmade cards this year. So here a few of my Christmas card creations.
This one was done from a cut file on my Silhouette Cameo.
On this one I used my new stamp & gear set by Inkadinkado, the added glitter glue for a little sparkle.
For the wreath and the sentiment backing I used Spellbinder dies the Foliage die and the Mix & Match Resplendent Rectangles and I also used the Martha Stewart branch punch to mix in between the Spelldinder sprigs.
This was a wooden block stamp for the tree that I heat embossed with a pretty pearlized green embossing powder then used my glitter glue and flat backed pearls to decorate, the Merry Christmas is also heat embossed with really pretty red with flecks of gold embossing powder.
For this card I used copper colored paper that has a pearl essence some 2″ wide ribbon in the back ground with the border done with a lacey Martha Steward punch, I put a Perfect Pearl dot on each little flower and I deconstructed a bunch of poinsettias flowers to add to the card. The sentiment was heat embossed and I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink. This one is actually my favorite, I wasn’t able to capture the true beauty by camera. I really need to practice getting better shots.
Last but not a all least, the manger scene was done from a wooden stamp from Michael’s and heat embossed, though it very simple I really like this one too. These were so fun to make but next year I’m going to start much earlier, I didn’t get to send out a many as I wanted to do the getting such a late start. I hope to do better next year.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas & Happy, Healthy & Blessed New Year!
I’ve been making card every chance I get. There’s been so many birthdays and special occasions lately. I get so behind with blogging so please forgive me. I will attempt to get my creations posted as I make them. Here are a few I’ve done lately. For a new nephew born in Sept. The blue matting & the plaid background was cut my Silhouette and the “baby” focal is a ready made 3D sticker from AC Moore craft store.
This one was for a co-worker’s birthday. She loves to cycle and was planning 300 mile cycling trip right after her birthday so I couldn’t resist this one. The image the grass are Silhouette cut files
from the Silhouette online store.
The clouds and ground I did by masking and sponging using Memento ink pads & sponge daubers and I used stickles on the sun.
This next one was for a male co-worker, so I did it pretty clean cut. I still have to really think about making masculine cards but I thought this was pretty safe.
This one was for someone who had a recent loss in her family.
These I donated to a group that gave them to critically ill patients just to brighten their day.
Lately I’ve also been working on making mini albums. I see so many on Pinterest that I just love so I’m trying to hone my skills and make a couple albums for myself. Hopefully I have something to post soon. Also I need to work on getting a stock pile of cards. I’ve been making them as I need them but sometimes I just done have time so it will be good to have a few to pull from with I need something quickly.
Have a great weekend all & happy crafting!
It’s been a really busy few weeks lately so it’s time for me to get caught up on my posts. Here are a few things I’ve been meaning to post. If you remember from my last post I’d made cards for a few friends with birthdays. Well for each of them I also made their gifts, here are the gifts I made for tow of them….Monogrammed Note Cards. The first set I made using Cuttlebug folders on some of the cards and Spellbinder dies.
The tutorial is really about using left over paper from other projects but I picked this paper pad just for this mini. I used Lemon Flower Stack by DCWV
It’s so much fun when you get a chance to play. I really needed get these done for upcoming birthdays of very dear friends.
This one was for a friend of mine at church.
Well that’s it for now, hope to have lots more to share soon.
Have a wonderful week….
I actually took a couple days off with the 4th of July holiday but we had a terrible storm blow through the DC metro area and I lost power, phone & cell service for 3/days just before the holiday. So I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked but I’m so grateful I got power back the day before the holiday and some of the hottest days we’ve had yet this summer, whew!! I have more to post hopefully tomorrow stay tuned.
I was invited this past weekend to a house warming/open house for a couple recently married. It took me a minute to decide on what I wanted to made for them. Then I thought I can make something cute with my Silhouette. So, I finally used my Silhouette Cameo to make a card, yea! I’ve had it for a few weeks now and have just been getting used to using it. I actually made the swirly white background on the cards from my last post here so I guess that was my actual first time using it for a card. But, this card was totally cut by my Silhouette and was so fun & easy to cut and put together.
I look forward to learning more and creating some great thing with my Silhouette Cameo. I love it!!
Recently I’ve had two friends that have been diagnosed with breast cancer. No matter who it is that news is always sad to hear. So, this weekend I made cards to send them in hopes that they will be encouraged and strengthened. I prayed over the cards and will send them out this week. This is the card, I made the same cards for both ladies. I also included a scripture tag of my favorite healing scriptures. I know that God will see them through this.
Have a great & blessed week!
Lately I made another set of cards marking very happy celebrations. I made another anniversary card for a couple at my church who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. Here’s their card,
This card is very colorful and vibrant in person, unfortunately I didn’t capture it that well. For the focal point rose on this card, I decided to take advantage of the pretty paper I used, first I just cut out a large rose with a circle Nestibilities die then I went around the edge with a clear sparkle gel pen. I cut out the shape of another rose and added a stickle type glitter glue to glitz it up a bit and few pop dots to layer it for some dimension.
My boss celebrated her birthday this past weekend and I made this card for her. This is the first card I’ve actually given that I did my Copic coloring on. The flower is from the Gina K Dogwood and Butterfly rubber stamp collection. I decided to cut them out and use pop dots and a little bling.
Can anyone say brownie points?! LOL, She loved it.
My sister-in-law’s birthday is today but we celebrated it over the weekend and she loved her card too, here’s her card.
I made this rose again that I’ve made on the cards in my previous post. I love making these roses. I used the Spellbinder Rose Creations set by Donna Salazar, the leaves are also Spellbinders Foliage set, I usually use pearlized chalk to color the rose and ink the edges with an ink pad, then spritz with Tim Holtz Pearl glimmer mist. For the background I use a Cuttlebug folder & I inked it using the Tim Holtz Red Brick distressed ink pad & Mememto yellow ink pad… I can’t remember the exact color but the blend was great. Then I cut it in thirds, added a lacey paper doily & popped a little blingy circle for just to added a little interest.
That’s it for now, more later.
They loved their card and couldn’t even remember when this picture was taken…LOL! They were delighted.
My Pastor and Fist Lady are the next couple that recently celebrated 20/yrs of love and marriage and are an awesome example of marriage. Here’s their card… I actually forgot to take a picture of the final finished card because I added a blingy flourish that really set it off and I totally forgot to take a picture. Ow well, you get the idea, (lesson learned).
It was so much fun making these cards & they too had to remember the occasion that I took their picture. They were so happy with their card.
One of my little nieces turned 5/yrs old recently and this was my first attempt at a card for a child. She had a princess themed party…and were they ever princesses…LOL! Here’s the little Princess…
Here’s the card and she really loved the card, I was really pleased that she liked it so much.
Fun was had by all and our little Princess lives happily ever after…
What a joyous day…Praises to our Risen King!
I hope everyone have a happy and blessed Easter!
I’ve really been a bad blogger lately. It’s been super busy lately but I’ve managed to do a few cards for friends and one actually done on request by my brother for a friend of his recovering from surgery.
Here’s what I’ve done lately…
This one I made for the former head of our department who was leaving my place of employment. I even made the envelope which my first time for that but I think they look nice together. It was also my first time making a stick pin to include with my card. I have a lot of beads and jewelery making stuff so can see myself making lots of those for cards. She really liked this card.
This one was for a co-worker’s daughter recovering from an injury. She is such a nice young lady I just had to make her something and sent it to her by her mom, whom I work with.
It’s funny but can you see a GREEN theme lately. Maybe because it’s spring but I’ve used green on each of the last four or five cards I’ve made. I think it’s time to move on to more color, huh?
That’s it for today but I have some more to share soon. I need to take a couple pictures and will hopefully post again before the end of the week. So, stay tuned. More later…
This is a long post and it’s picture heavy so sit back and browse through what I came up with over the past couple days. I had Monday off for Presidents Day so I took Tuesday off as well to stretch out my weekend, believe me it was much needed. It was so enjoyable to get to spend some time playing my craft room working on my new found love of paper crafting.
OK, here goes… I made this card for my son, he was so sweet to send me something special so I had to make him this “Thank-you” card. My son live in Los Angeles, CA so most of our contact is by phone or email. He is so excited for me in discovering my new hobby so he’ll love this card, it’s always fun to make a card for him. He’s my heart!
Ok, so next I made this card for a sister-in-law that lives in NJ. Just wanted to send her a thinking of you card…
I’ve been practicing making paper flowers so I had this scrap piece of paper and I decided to cut out the little blossoms and flourishes to use on this card. I glued in a few clear beads and sprayed them with some “Perfect Pearls Mist”. The other elements are my Spellbinders “Labels #10”, the white piece is from the SB “Fancy Tags Two” and the little flourishes on the bottom are from the SB “Twisted Metal Tags & Accents” set. I chalked around the letters on the tag, my greens didn’t really go together too well, but I used what I had & I think it turned out OK.
Next up are the flowers I made…
I used this EK Success punch, which I love, I think it’s so pretty. Of course it makes a beautiful border but I cut them apart the see what else I could come up with
Finally…I needed a temporary storage solution for my Copic & Spectrum Noir markers. My collection is swiftly growing (as is all my crafting supplies). What’s a girl to do when she falls in love? Anyway back to my final projects during my play time. I decided to make my own marker storage solution for now and here it is…
This is just a sturdy little cardboard box and this is how I made it…
I cut off the box top flaps and covered them with black paper, I also covered the box with paper from my stash, I think this comes from my sewing obsession to make things look good inside as well as outside.
The box flaps became the shelves using glue & what else but “duck tape”. I used to hate some of the ways I’ve seen duck tape used in the past, just to find out it does come in handy, LOL!
And last but not least here are the images that I colored with my markers. I have a long way to go in learning the coloring techniques but it was fun practicing. I hope to take the Copic classes soon. BTW I got these images from the blog of a very talented artist/crafter Becky’s Place she actually has many, many images on her blog that she offers to anyone free to download and she have finally started a line of Digi images for sale that are so cute so check her out. I thanked her for being so generous with her talent and I look forward to purchasing some of her new ones. She also has some awesome tutorials on her blog.
I had a ball during my time off, it was relaxing and energizing. With a little more practice I hope to jump into some challenges soon. I’ve been following several sites that have some fun challenges but I really had to get to a certain place and have a little time to jump in. So, I hope you’ve enjoyed checking out my play time results. Stay tuned for more later…
|Pastor’s Birthday Card|
I just want them to know auntie is thinking about them. I used a few new (to me) techniques making these cards. With the second one I tried a few thing I discovered on YouTube, On the circle I embellished it using the technique in this YouTube link about using border punches in a circle or oval. The crafter in this video is brilliant, her name is Veronica and this is also a link to her blog. The ribbon I used was not the right color so I colored it with one of my COPIC makers, E15 is the color I used. The pearl like embellishments I used on the ribbon is a technique using my hot glue gun and Perfect Pearl powder. Here is the YouTube video for that technique…Hot Glue Gun Pearls.
I had a wonderful birthday last week and received many Happy Birthday wishes and special gifts. So, I made a few Thank-You cards this week to give to my wonderful friends & family.
On the one below I used the scoring technique to create the diamond pattern that I just learned from Gina K’s Stamp TV site. It doesn’t so up quite so well in the picture but it’s really beautiful. It reminds me of quilting. I’m sure I’ll use this technique many times.
This is my first time using my Spellbinder, I LOVE MY SPELLBINDER. I still have lots to learn but I get lots of inspiration by checking in on you all, I’m learning so much. Take care, more later….
I’m so excited, I’ve been collecting a few tools to do my card making. Of course every good craftsman need the right tools right? Well, here’s what I’ve been collecting…
I just love what I’ve seen other do with the Spellbinder & I just had to have it. I LOVE THE SPELLBINDER and so glad I broke down and got it. So, I’ve been shopping on Ebay & Overstocked.com (Overstocked has great prices on paper crafting stuff) for my Spellbinder machine & the dies. I’ve come across some really good deals. Some items as much as 50% OFF. I’ve gotten the Cuttlebug folders on Ebay & Michaels using 40-50% off and most of the stamps I got from Michaels & AC Moore on sale of with a coupon usually 50% off. Now to practice. practice, practice. I still have things I want to get but it will come with time, just keeping my eyes open for sales.
So stay tuned, I hope to join in on some challenges and get some holiday cards done. So, more later…
So, finally here I got some punches & found the beautiful paper. Improvement already, huh?
The insides I just printed on the computer on card stock.
This is one my son asked me to make for a co-worker of his that was leaving and moving to the east coast. She loved it, he asked that I leave the inside blank so everyone could sign it.
So this is just the beginning for me. I just ordered a “Spellbinder” machine and some of the dies, I can’t wait for it to get here. I’m gathering more supplies & I’m trying to learn a different technique each time I make a card. So, wish me luck, more later….
